Tata Consultancy Services - Gujarat, September 24, 2013.
There were 4 rounds in this overall selection procedure. Written Test is a bit tough. Another three rounds TR, MR, HR its of Average.
1. Online Aptitude ( (30 ques, 80 mins). ). + Verbal Test (Email writing).
2. Technical round.
3. MR round.
4. HR round.
This year the total selection procedure was quite different and little bit harder than the previous ones. This time they add verbal test. Only 131 out of 257 students from our college got selected in aptitude test and combining with Top 5s from all the departments, total 131 students appeared for the Technical round. Finally 32 students got selected by TCS from our college. Luckily I was one of the selected candidates and I would like to share my interview experience with you all : ).
1). Aptitude and Verbal.
Online Test : Practice well all arithmetic questions Quant. In my case there was 9 questions of probability, 5 questions of time and work, 2 questions of logical reasoning patterns, profit & loss, 8 to 9 questions from numerical concepts like " find remainder/divisors. ".
Verbal Test: In verbal test it was easy not tough. In this test they asked to write email (in my case topic was apology for project delay). Minimum 70 words. It has checked by computer. So don't do spelling mistake, grammatical mistake, and one special tip is use all 10 keywords which is given at top of the page.
This is the most important round of interview.
