Placement Papers - TCS

Hi Friends

I am Sanjay from the department of IT and I got selected TCS.

I am proud to say that out of approx 380 students 149 were able to clear online exam, from our college 75 members were selected.

The online pattern is as follows:
Verbal-10 antonyms,10 synonyms,reading comprehension,sentence completion
Aptitude-38 qns,40 mnts
Critical reasoning-12 qns(30 marks)

Refer to previous  papers almost all questions were repeated except few, but they were of same pattern.. Here are some of the ques. I Rememeber

Aptitude was very much easy ..

Critical reasoning :
actually it is repeated from gre barrons 12th edition, when I was prep for it I didnt understand it, what I did is just I mugged up all the answers,,,and also I prepared my friends, my friend got one of them but I did not get,, there is ample of time to solve this section, initially I was tensed that I did not get any one of them ,,, later I read the passage tried to understand it and I was able to answer 8 perfectly and rest I guessed..

Note: Critical reasoning is the most important section, becoz most of my friends failed to answer this. They did not qualify the exam even though they answered 1st 2 secs perfectly. One more important note this section consists of lower and upper cutoff i.e u should ans between 5-8 correctly not more not less.

We had this exam on 27th, later I had to attend tech, rest of rounds on 31st

Technical round:
tech round is most important round qustions I was asked:
1>tell me abt ur self : I told  ....family background ....hobbies  bla bla bla etc..
2>Wat subj u know : I said java, C
3> he gave me  a pgm to write in java, C
