Hi Friends
This is Bhuvan Mehra of ECE Guru nanak dev university ASR. After the test comes 3 rounds of interviews. (See Whole Testpaper submitted by me)
Some Tips
* Prepare Ur resume well. They go through every item on resume n u should even kno ur hobbies very well
* Know ur projects
* Look into the eyes of intwr
* Dont stammer n dont be nervous
* Dont switch languages.. If u start with eng, a single hindi word n u r out..
* Prepare ur 2 favorite subjects well
* Know ur last 2 sem subjects
1st Round --Technical Its the toughest interview round.. U must ve a sound C n C++ knowledge to impress them.. N pray tht the interviewr asks u some tough program to write coz if u complete tht one, it guarantees ur selection through this round. I had two interviewers for this round. One was very cool one but the other one broody one. I wasnt able to make a very good first impression on them at first I guess, so they were just playin with me at first... After a while they askd me to write a program to sort a 2 D array using pointers. I took some 5 - 10 min for tht.. They were gettin restless during tht time I suppose. Cool intwr offered me to write the prog without pointers if I wasnt comfortable but I knew if I accepted the bargain the game was over... So after a while when i handed the prog, they started to go through it.. I could tell by their looks tht they were shoked coz they didnt expect an complete error free prog. They took 5 min to find some errors in it which they couldnt.. Then They asked me to xplain it which I did... Thts when things gained momentum n I kno I was through first round... But Tech round was far from over. They askd me to xplain my project.. did Then came various ques ranging from my fav subject to diff btw choke n coil, tube n bulb, workin of MCB, wireless electricity... Key factor if u r good at tech, they cant afford to loose u.
2nd Round -- MR It was a real cool affair.. A lady intwr askd me ques like Why TCS, what if someone offers u a better package in future, regardin 2 year bond, relocation constraints.... Go through TCS website n remember the names of CEO, MD, etc Mine intwr was so impressed with my answers tht she mentioned 3 times durin the int tht they will love to ve me in their org.
3rd Round -- HR It was nt tht easy one.. A Senior panel membr took it. Mine this round went fine. He didnt ask me much. Just Hobbies like Harry Potter, etc.
Key Factor :- If u r good at technical, they cant afford to loose u...!!! Outta 350 who appeared, 150 made it through written. Finally 64 got through interviews... Best of Luck to all Bhuvan Mehra
