TCS off campus on Sept 8th 2007 and the interview was on 19th Sept 2007

Written cleared: 182
Tech cleared: 62
HR :62

I cleared my written test. All the questions are from previous question papers but the analytical reasoning was little bit complicated. though some were from GRE BARRONS 12th edition some were from different sources. however friends if u do quants well and do all the synonyms and antonyms correctly then u will clear the first hurdle.

Interview tech questions:
1 as usual, tell abt ur self
2 explain ur project and some related questions.
3 differences between C and C++
4 operators in C++
5 what is scope resolution operator?
6 how can u access array elements using pointers?
7 applications of arrays?
8 write code on reverse of a number in C language

See friends every one will learn C, C++ but TCS people are testing our core subjects first and then C and C++ or any other computers subject. So preperation for core subjects is must just go through the basics remember most of the candidates are eliminated in this round.

MR questions:
1 the same question tell abt ur self
2 r u reloctable
3 question on OOPS concepts
4 a simple SQL query
5 differences between Oracle 8i and 9i
6 one puzzle : it was a quadratic equation
7 why percentage gone down?

I cleared my MR as the results announced after 30 min. After 1 hour they called for HR

2 project ur strenghts in your real life
3 what is ur EAMCET rank
4 r u mobile
5 r u ready to sign 2yrs bond

THE HR LASTED FOR 5 MINUTES. I ANSWERED ALL THE QUESTIONS CONFIDENTLY AND CAME OUT and the results are not announced and I am waiting for my results and one more thing guys getting into TCS is not a mamoth task just u need to give ur answers confidently and answers should be reasonable.
dont bluff or boast or blame others and keep an eye on ur body language
