Hai Friends I am RAHIL WAHEED, IT From VSCE, KHAMMAM, AP.
I am very happy to share my written test Experience and Preparation TIPS with all of U. I am very Thankful to Friends for providing this platform for Freshers.
The Selection Process taken place for 2 days. To my surprise they conducted the exam in the empty employee cabin, I felt working at TCS for that 2 hrs. At the beginning u have to fill the OMR sheet with ur details, FILL IT WITH CARE.
Question paper consists of 3 Booklet Sets (X,Y,Z) . I got Z set, it was the previous paper set only. It consists of 3 sections
1. Verbal Section : Synonyms & Antonyms, Paragraph Completion
2. Quants Section
3. Reasoning Section
PREPARATION TIPS which I followed are as follows....
Verbal Section:
It consists of Synonyms and Antonyms, all r from the previous papers. So take the PRINT OUT of all the Previous Papers for this section and also refer the GRE Barrons for the Complete and Clear Meaning its must to have the idea of the word.
Paragraph Completion: It is a bit Toughest part . The passage was on a vague topic if ur lucky enough u may get from the Reading Comp. of GRE Baroons.
Reading Comprehensions: RCs which I have Collected and Important for this section are as follows
REFER THE GRE BARRONS of any Edition for this .....
1. Paralleling the growth of interest
among professional Historians......
2. A few species demonstrate conditions
Which are neither complete hibernation nor aestiration....
3. Unlike the carefully weighted and....planned compositions
of Dante Goeth\'s......Romatic movement
4. The nation of a tranquil abyss.... Strong currents and

REFER THE MODEL PAPER AND EXERCISES OF BAROONS FOR ABOVE RCs. Read the RC once and get an idea abt it.
Quantitative:
Take the PRINT OUT of all the Previous Papers for this Section, Since..every Question is from previous papers..model of Ques. is the same but careful that numbers may changed.....Try to solve each and every Ques. from Previous Papers.....and DON\'T BUTTIFY THE ANSWERS. U will be getting the Graph problems at the end of quant part, there will be bit tough...go for that problems at the end.
Critical Reasoning: 3 passages, each consists of 4 questions.
FOR THIS SECTION REFER THE MODEL PAPERS AND EXERCISES OF GRE BAROONS STRICTLY 12TH EDITION ONLY
The critical section questions which I collected are as follows....
1. For a motorist........
2. In a certain society, thr r 2 marriage groups, Red & Brown...
3. A Project...Large University....& small College ....Committies...
4. The letters A,B,C,D,E,F & G....
5. In country X, the conservative, Demo, and Justice parties...
6. Tom wishes to enroll.........
7. All G\'s are H\'s
All G\'s are J\'s or K\'s
8. Seven Varity basketball players r to be Honored....
9. Spelunkers International offers exploring tours in eight caves....
10. The Homer Museum of American Art....
11. At a formal dinner for eight........
12. All A\'s, B\'s, C\'s, D\'s ......
IF U HAVE PATIENCE REFER OTHER CS QUES ONLY FROM 12TH EDITION.
The above Critical Section questions r important and repeated questions, try to solve them all and be perfect in that questions.
By the God\'s Grace I Cleared off the Written Test. Prepare well almost all the previous papers..Well Begin is Half Done. I heard that their might be the Upper Cutoff..I am not sure of it. BE CONFIDENT IN UR APPROACH. My Interview Experience in the next post - Very Sooooooon....
