Hello Friends !

I\'m extremely happy to inform u all that I\'ve gt thru TCS. I thank Friends Madam n other members 4 their encouragement. Let me share my exp with TCS right frm d test.


Aptitude Test: There\'ll be 3 parts - Verbal, Quans, Critical.

VERBAL - 32 ques.
Synonyms n Antonyms - 10 each
Readin Comprehension - 6 ques
Fill up d blanks - 6.
The verbal part is d toughest 1. I prepared around 400 words. But nt even a single word came in d ques paper. So be strong in Verbal.

QUANS - 33 ques.
This is d very easy section. Juz be thorough with previous set ques papers n that\'s enough.

CRITICAL - 12 ques.
I think 4 this section u can go through GRE edition 12, 13, 14 n R.S. Agarwal. that\'s enough.

On clearin this round, u\'ll be called 4 interview.

Interview.

Actually in TCS, there r 3 rounds - Technical, HR, MR. Bt this time, they kept only 1st 2 rounds n out of 3000, only 20 - 30 faced all 3 rounds, Iam one among d 30.

TECH INTERVIEW:

Juz be thorough with basic concepts of S/W Engg , DBMS, Java, C, C++ n ur final yr Proj. Ques I faced r below.

Interviewer: Introduce urself.
Myself: Gave a smart ans.

I: (went through my resume) So what\'s ur field of interest?
M: SE.

I: So u have DBMS, right?
M: Yes Sir, bt I\'m nt very gd in that sub.

I: Write d steps 4 arranging a set of num in Ascending order.(nt d program, juz steps).
M: Wrote n explained with an example.

I: Tell me d various modules of DBMS.
M: Sorry sir I don\'t know.

I: Write an SQL command 4 inserting.
M: Wrote.

I: Write an SQL com 4 updating.
M: (Tried bt couldn\'t recollect) Sorry Sir I coudn\'t recollect.

I: Tell me about ur project.
M: Explained in detail.

I: Why did u choose VB?
M: Gave some satisfactory ans.

Completed n Selected.

HR INTERVIEW

I: General introduction.
M: Introduced.

I: Usual HR Ques.
M: Replied 4 all Ques.

I: Ques on SE.(He asked me many ques)
M: Replied 4 all ques.

I: U want to ask anything?
M: Asked some ques.(He was suprised by my ques. n gave some replies).

Completed n went 4 final round.

MANAGERIAL REVIEW (For me this was pure tech).

I: Do u know OOPS Concepts?
M: Yes Sir.

I: Few ques on C n many ques on C++, Java.
M: Gave ans 4 all d Ques.

I: U want to ask anything?
M: Asked some ques.

Completed.

NOTE: When u ask some Ques regardin d org, make sure u don\'t repeat d same old ques. Shoot ur Ques such that they should come to a conclusion that u\'ve analysed d org in depth n u have some stuff. Make sure ur ques r diff frm other candidates. The most imp thing is u must have self confidence. If u don\'t know ans 4 some ques be frank rather than attemptin it in an improper way. Be cool.
