Triangles will be interchanged in the water image, and thus vertical lines appear in the lower triangle and horizontal lines in the upper triangle in the answer figure.

3 and 1 seem same, but there are horizontal lines in the upper portion of x figure.
So while flaping it the horizontal lines will come down that's why the answer is 1.
