Answer: Option
Explanation:
All the elements move half-a-side of the square boundary in ACW direction in each step. Also, first, third and fifth elements are replaced by new elements in one step and second, fourth and sixth elements are replaced by new elements in the next step. The two steps are repeated alternately.

Options 2, 3, 4 looks similar at first. Option 4 provides the best option as the replaced symbols in option 2 and 3 have been already used in the previous problem figures ('s' in option 3 and '=' in option 2).

Only the correct logic is that the corner elements are replaced by new figures with increasing one step forward in consecutive diagram and middle elements are same with increasing one step in consecutive diagram.

Only figure 4 is having new elements and in other figures the previous elements are used. So 4th is the answer because according to sequence no old elements are used.

In option 4, the 2nd, 4th, and 6th positions are all replaced by NEW symbols. In the option 2, the second element is replaced by "=", which is already present in the question sequence and hence NOT NEW. So 4 is the answer.

The replaced symbols are not repeated in any of the problem figures.

2 and 4 both are following the same sequence, then why only 4 is the answer, is there a logic in the changing figures too?

The above analysis is half correct as 1,3,5 are replaced by new symbols in B to C not from A to B and 2,4,6are replaced from A to B. now the same kind of analysis was lying for options 2&4.

I am unable to know how 4 can be right when 2 is having a similar answer.

What is there to understand its quite simple as explained in the explanation .From A to B (1,3,5 are replaced by new symbols )and From B to C(2,4,6 are replaced by new symbols) and this continues in the rest of the figures .So answer is obviously"4"
