I see it as an object being turned upside down on its corner, while the square, as a marker for the complete row, shifts position, step by step.

@Brinda is right. While inverting, swap the elements to one position anti-clockwise. While again bringing it up, interchange 1, 2 and 3, 4.

While inverting from top to bottom - move the first one to the last, pushing the remaining to front. While inverting bottom to top - interchange 1st and 2nd positions & 3rd and 4th positions.

Hey simple technique yaar.
Just number the symbols and compare the orders like
The order of ques is
A.1234
B.2341
C.3214
D.2143
Now the E bit sequence is 1234 then alternatly the ans will be 2341.

From A and B, the fig s inverted and the designs move lik 1->2, 2->3, 3->4, 4->1 from top. Similarly C and D, E and ans.
