When we fit the block that time we didn't change the direction of position of block we saw that block which can be fit properly in the same location as it is show in the alternate figure. So here you change the block.

There was one more question which had the same problem and in that case too right answer was option 4 or D. It not positioned well but it is our task to recognize and reorient. So as to fit the block! but this type of questions are rare.

If I directly place the D, it won’t complete the block. It has to be rotated to complete it.
