The paper is folded as given and two holes are punched in Fig 'Z'. When you unfold it, it gives the mirror image of the holes.

Eg: When you unfold from Z to Y, you will find four holes.

1. The two holes as found in Z in the bottom.

2. Two holes on the upper half which will be the mirror image of the bottom. As it is unfolded in the same manner, it will result in the final pattern which is Figure (3).

The answer is correct, in order to understand take a pic of paper and cut it exactly the same with pic3 then fold it in the patterns of P, x, y and Z.

Since the paper is punched, holes are formed throughout the paper. So unfold the paper with holes as mirror image. You will get the answer.

This answer is incorrect. I made an actual template of this and none of the options presented are correct.

This question is very difficult to understand.

Is there any easy way to understand the question?

I think the answer should be 2. Part folded in figure x should also have 2 holes on each side.

The fold would move to its adjacent sides, now look at that it resembles the 3rd one.

I also made it and none of the options resembled it. How is this possible?
