Directions to Solve
Each of the following questions consists of a set of three figures X, Y and Z showing a sequence of folding of apiece of paper. Figure (Z) shows the manner in which the folded paper has been cut. These three figures are followed by four answer figures from which you have to choose a figure which would most closely resemble the unfolded form of figure (Z).

The given answer D is correct guys.
A few observations in Z:
1) Some space is left from the top when the upper triangle cut is made. So, after unfolding you won't get a proper diamond but get two opposite-facing triangles instead.
2) There is no cut on the left and right side, hence after unfolding you won't get cuts on the Left-Right sides of the circle.
These observations will help you to arrive at the correct answer (D).
The given answer D is correct guys.

B is the right option, when you cut it at downward direction all the folded parts were cut but as per mentioned answer its not happening.

D is correct. When we cut it from the lower end, those sides will get unaffected which are shown cut in option B.

Take a paper fold as per given instruction thereafter cut it as mentioned and see. Answer given is wrong.

The only possibilities are C or D. D is the correct answer. I did the whole paper cutting thing.
