All the symbols in X image box can be best suitable for option 2 because all those symbols will be fitted to the second option.. in the remaining cases it doesn't...

2 is the Correct answer.
Because 2 right angled triangles are placed together upside then a small triangle is Placed right to it lastly space is for the last shape.

If you see the line of square by two right triangles then lign must be / even you rotate both right triangles in a mirror image.

Just cross the figure which you are pretty sure that the answer is wrong. If you cut at least two then it will be east to guess.

In fig x we are having 2 large triangle and 1 small triangle and 1 trapezium. All these are embedded in fig b.

Joining two triangle will form a rectangle and the attach a small triangle and then join trapezium.
