I think this logic is wrong for 2 reasons:
Row 1: The vertical bar is moved from the right side in column 1 to middle in column 3 (moved = not common, because the common diagonal bar is not moved).
Row 2: There are no common parts at all when you consider the same location (alternatively all parts are common when you add moving from bottom to top as logical change). This means column 3 should be 6 ellipses as said by Abhimanyu/Fareesha/T. Thought (alternatively no ellipse at all when you allow moving like the horizontal bar in row 1, but the movement from right to the middle for column 1 to 3 is not to get in agreement with movement from bottom to top for column 1 to 2).

First row is very misguiding and there is a mistake . Look at the vertical line.
As a result, we get a line in the middle of the picture, while the line in the first box of the row is on the left. The concept of a task is quite easy, but because of wrong pictures, I'm not surprised by seeing wrong answers.

@All.
So, for the first figurine, they both have a diagonal line that goes to the right. They both have that in common, so that disappears. Then the remaining lines are put together. The same goes for all of the rows. What is in common, disappears, and you put together what remains.

The explanation is somewhat simplified, you need an additional set of rules but it works then. Nothing wrong with the images.

I think the third image in 2nd row is wrong because it must have the two horizontal petals (2 at top and 2 at bottom).

I could not understand the reason how the 3rd fig of 1st row comprises of uncommon fig. Explain it.

Agreed. If they do not, then there is no reason why the two in the middle wouldn't also be common.

I think the 3rd image in 2nd row should have two more petals. 2 at the top and 2 at bottom.
