Option 3 also makes sense according to the given logic. But it is ruled out because if you see he figures in row 2, diagonally opposite part of figures are inverted (rotated) by 180.

It is in reverse order (follow the figure in reverse direction).

1st figure: 3rd (3rd figure in 1st row ) one is straight line, then half part of the leave has been added to 2nd one, and remaining half part leave has been added and resulted 1st one.

2nd figure: he removed one leave in 2nd one, and in the next one he did the same thing.

Same in 3rd figure too.

In each row, the no of components are increasing or decreasing only by one from left to right. So the answer is option A.
