Clearly, the six faces are labelled as
Face I -> a, Face IV -> b, Face III -> c, Face II -> d, Face V -> e, Face VI -> f
Therefore 'a' appears opposite 'c'.
Hence, when 'c' is at the top, then 'a' will be at the bottom.

A, E, D are already shown in figure (i), they said clockwise direction the only possibility for that is a, b, c, d.
In figure (i) a and d shown the remaining letters are c and d that lie opposite to a and d.
A => c and d => b.
