I think option C is more appropriate because the ball moves with the pentagon as it will be vertically inverted, then according to this rule, it will change its colour to white on its upper half rather than lower half (do it practically).

I think C is the answer because pentagon will get vertically inverted and the upper half will become white as related to figure B.

It is option C the shaded half faces the lower end as well the circle sticks to the lower end.
