Directions to Solve
Each of the following questions consists of two sets of figures. Figures A, B, C and D constitute the Problem Set while figures 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 constitute the Answer Set. There is a definite relationship between figures A and B. Establish a similar relationship between figures C and D by selecting a suitable figure from the Answer Set that would replace the question mark (?) in fig. (D).

Question is asked like if (A) is related to (B) then, in the same manner find the relation of (C) among the given options. (There is no relation between figure B and C whatsoever)
SOLUTION:
Half shaded leaf from (A) turns 135 degrees anticlockwise. Non shaded leaf from (A) turns 135 degrees clockwise. And thus forms figure (B).
Apply same theory in figure (C) to obtain the correct answer that is option 3.

Read the question carefully. There s some relationship between A&B ONLY.
We have to find that relationship and apply the same to C&'D.
Half-shaded leaf rotates 135 ACW and non-shaded 135 CW apply the same relation to Fig. C and you will get the answer. (Ans is C).

In A the shaded leaf rotates 135 acw and non shaded leaf 135 cw but it is not the same in the second the half shaded leaf rotates 45 acw non shaded 135 cw so the problem figure does not follow the same pattern.

Option 3 and 5 are not same, the angle is same but look at the shading given in leaf.
Focus on directions how leaves are moving. Hence option C is correct.

Shades leaf rotateed 135 acw degree fron 1 to b where as from b to c it rotates 45 degress so from c to d 145 degress...and non shaded leaf rotates 135 drees cw in a b c

I think it is the fourth fig. As if rotating is taking into cause then it is also true. Also, it is not given about how many degrees it will rotate?

Why the 2nd no. Column figure's answers are in different direction as compared to 1st no. Column?
