The angle b/w welding torch & work in forehand welding is 60-70 wherein the back hand it is only 40-50.

So option C is correct, the angle b/w welding rod and work is 30-40 for both the cases.

Answer is B.

FOREHAND WELDING:

The flame in the direction of travel and hold the tip at an angle of about 45 degrees to the working surfaces.

BACKHAND WELDING:

The welding tip should make an angle of about 60 degrees with the plates or joint being welded.

Dear @Sandeep,

Here the angle between the torch and work piece not weld rod and work piece so the angle between the torch and work piece is 60-70 for fore head welding.
