For Torch and rod.
In both cases forehand and backhand 30-40.
For Torch and work:
To forehand 50-60.
Black hand 40-50.

Here the angle between the torch and work piece not weld rod and work piece so the angle between the torch and work piece is 60-70 for fore head welding.
