Adhesiveness is the property by which sand particles stick to the wall of the mould box.

Here, the adhesiveness basic meaning is the combination of different molecules to each other. Here sand is one type of material and moulding box is also a another type of material. So the contact between each other is termed as adhessiveness of sand.
