Shrinkage is 7-10 mm/m for grey cast iron 15 mm/m for malleable cast iron.

Maximum allowance plane carbon steel 20mm/m.
Pure Aluminium 17mm/m.

Grey cast iron is a Negative allowance.

Al has a max. Liquid shrinkage.
Brass has a max. solid shrinkage
Steel has a max. combination of both solid and liquid shrinkage.
