We can also do it easily by mass conservation:

The reaction is : 2CO+O2=2CO2,

So basically Total mass of CO2 will be equal to sum of masses of CO and O2. Hence.

1+O2=11/7.

Mass of O2=11/7-1=4/7.

(The stoichiometric coefficients won't matter as we are directly doing mass conservation).
