One molecule of oxygen consists of two atoms of oxygen.

Normally two oxygen atoms (denoted O); three bonded atoms of oxygen are called ozone (O).

One molecule is o2 then in o2 there are 2 atoms.

O + O = O2.
16/16 + 16/16 = 32/16.
1 + 1 = 2.
O2 = 2.
