It's a dual cycle because, As the name implies it is a combination of Otto and Diesel cycles. So it consists of 1 isochoric, 1 isobaric and 2 isentropic processes.

Its dual cycle. Dual cycle has 2 isentropic process, a partial constant volume and a partial constant pressure cycle.

It's a diesel cycle as it consists one const pressure where heat is supplied, one const volume where heat is removed ie cooling and two isentropic processes. One is for expansion, another one is for compression. It is also known as const pressure cycle.

What is a cycle?

The answer should be a diesel cycle because in dual cycle two constant volume and one constant pressure process.
