Considering your point then Ericson Cycle should also have efficiency equal to Carnot Cycle as all these cycles are considered reversible.

Joule Cycle is used in gas turbines.

In Joule Cycle or Carnot cycle air is used as working fluid which have specific volume which may required huge back work from turbine which may lead to decrease in net work output of the cycle.
