Throttling is an expansion of a high-pressure liquid covert into a low-pressure liquid through a narrow path.
During the process, there is no exchange of heat. For this there is no change of enthalpy that's why it is a constant enthalpy process.

Throttling simply means increasing or decreasing fluid flow. In this process, enthalpy of the fluid remains constant. But throttling is an irreversible process because entropy of fluid always increases.

Throttling Process => Irreversible and steady flow.
Isentropic process => Reversible and adiabatic.
Isentropic process => Reversible and adiabatic.
