According to me, Correct answer must be yes.

In an isothermal process, the product of pressure and volume is constant, hence correct option is yes.

It may be noted that the hyperbolic process is governed by Boyle, s law i.e. p we = constant. If we plot a graph of pressure and volume, during the process as shown in fig we shall get a rectangular hyperbola. Hence, this process is termed as a hyperbolic process. It is merely a theoretical case and has a little importance from the subject point of view. Its practical application is an isothermal process.

In gas PV = constant. It is an isothermal process and in steam, PV = constant in the wet region is a hyperbolic process and superheated state is the isothermal process. Therefore right answer is "A".

In the gas law, PV = mRT, for a given gas m and are constant. The product of P and V is constant when T is constant. Thus isothermal process (for gas only) is the correct answer.

It is not known why the answer was given is B (ie. NO).

It is the isothermal process.

And isothermal process is hyperbolic one.

Hyperbolic process is called isochoric process.

Hyperbolic process is also called isothermal process.

Process is given as heated that means there will be change in temperature. So it must be hyperbolic process.

Why is this false in isothermal process pv is constant right?
