A perfect gas (or an ideal gas) may be defined as a state of a substance, whose evaporation from its liquid state is complete. It may be noted that if its evaporation is partial, the substance is called vapor. A vapor contains some particles of liquid in suspension.

I think the parfect gas is also known as superheated steam and vapour is also known as wet steam in short steam word can use for both vapour and parfect gas that why if evaporation is patial then it is known as vapour steam word is not correct.

I think vapor is a correct word. Thus, steam may be incorrect. Moreover the liquid is not specified as water here, so it can't be steam.
Also, *Steam is water vapor above 100°C.
Also, *Steam is water vapor above 100°C.

@Vel and @Ram.
If evaporation of liquid state is complete means it is perfect gas. Here the question is evaporation of liquid state is partial. So I think the answer is vapour.

The state of a substance whose evaporation from its liquid state is partial, is known as vapour which is nothing but steam.
So answer is (A) agree.
So answer is (A) agree.

Vapour always exist within critical point while steam exists above or on the critical point.
Critical point:- Where liquid and gas exist together.
Critical point:- Where liquid and gas exist together.

If evaporation is completed then it is perfect gas is steam. But here partial evaporation that is not perfect gas not a steam.

Vapor is little water droplets that exist in the air, while steam is water heated to the point that it turns into gas.

@All.
When evaporation is partial it is known as vapour and when evaporation is complete it is known as perfect gas.

I don't think steam word is only use for water vapors. Any liquid can have it's own steam that is vapor state, like.
