Phase angle means a body comparing to sun in particular angle, the angle of sun changes from 0 to 180, so the angle will tends approach 180, (w/wn actual angle of abject to the natural angle of object.

From frequency response curve. We can say that at high value of w/wn. Phase angle tends to 180°.
