What is damping?

In viscous damping it take more time so frequency is inversly proportional to the time so it is less than undamped.

Undamped vibration in which there is no friction.

Frequency directly propotional to the angular velocity. So damping w less than that of undamped w.

In damping vibration the frequency decrease continuously.
