Where y=Fc,
m=a,
x= r,
c=b.
That's distance c in -y-axis then Fc=ar-b for stable governor.
If c in +y axis then Fc=ar+b for unstable governor.
c =0 ( from origin) Fc=ar for isochronous governor.
y=mx+c.
Where y=Fc,

For governor to be stable when slope of controlling force curve must be greater than that of speed curve. When controlling force curve coincide with speed curve create the case of isochronous.
