Short Column: 0< Le / r < 60.
Intermediate Column: 60< Le / r <120.
Long Column: 120< Le / r < 300.
Intermediate Column: 60< Le / r <120.

FOR SHORT COLUMN SR < 45.
AND FOR LONG COLUMN SR > 45.
AND FOR LONG COLUMN SR > 45.

A short steel column is one whose slenderness ratio does not exceed 50; an intermediate length steel column has a slenderness ratio ranging from about 50 to 200, and are dominated by the strength limit of the material, while a long steel column may be assumed to have a slenderness ratio greater than 200 and its behavior is dominated by the modulus of elasticity of the material.

SR<50 SHORT COLUMN.
SR>120 LONG COLUMN.
50<SR<120 MEDIUM COLUMN.
SR>120 LONG COLUMN.
50<SR<120 MEDIUM COLUMN.

S.R IS LESS THAN 32 - SHORT COLUMN.
S.R IS 32-100 THAN - MEDIUM COLUMN.
S.R IS GREATER THAN 100 - LONG COLUMN.
S.R IS 32-100 THAN - MEDIUM COLUMN.
S.R IS GREATER THAN 100 - LONG COLUMN.

S.R is <32 --> Short Column,
S.R is 32-120--> Medium,
S.R is >120 --> Long,
So, the answer should be medium column.
S.R is 32-120--> Medium,
S.R is >120 --> Long,
So, the answer should be medium column.

@Abhinav yadav said that for long column slenderness ratio more than 120 but question is if slenderness ratio for a column is 100 then answer would be a medium column. Is it yes or no.

The right answer is medium column. Because it is lied between 50 to 200.

The answer depends on the material of the column. Generally, for structural steel, the column is considered to be 'short' for slenderness ratios (SR) < 40 , 'intermediate' for 40 < SR < 150 and 'long' when SR > 150. A short column fails in compression while a long column fails in buckling. The intermediate column falls between the two.

For-medium size column:- their slenderness ratio lying between 32-120.
For-long column:- their slenderness ratio more than 120.
For-long column:- their slenderness ratio more than 120.
