Slenderness Ratio Below 32 is Short Column.

Slenderness Ratio From 32 to 100 is Medium Column.

Slenderness Ratio Above 100 is Long Column.

S.R is <32 --> Short Column,
S.R is 32-120--> Medium,
S.R is >120 --> Long,

So, the answer should be medium column.

For-medium size column:- their slenderness ratio lying between 32-120.

For-long column:- their slenderness ratio more than 120.

Le/r is called slenderness ratio. If it is > 120 it is called long beam. But mostly > 100 is preferred as long beam.

The exact one is short not to exceed - 50 and medium - 50 to 120 and long should be above 200 so the question is wrong.

Short Column: 0< Le / r < 60.
Intermediate Column: 60< Le / r <120.
Long Column: 120< Le / r < 300.

For long columns, slenderness ratio is greater than 100.

For shorter >20.

And for the medium between 20-100.

S.R IS LESS THAN 32 - SHORT COLUMN.
S.R IS 32-100 THAN - MEDIUM COLUMN.
S.R IS GREATER THAN 100 - LONG COLUMN.

Length of column to the least radius of gyration is greater than & equal to 100 is called as long column.

The ratio of effective length to the least radius of gyration is called the slenderness ratio of the column.
