For hoop stress (longitudinal stress) = pd/2t.
And for circumferential strees it is = pd/4t.
Circumferential stress is HALF(1/2) of hoop stress.
And for circumferential strees it is = pd/4t.
Circumferential stress is HALF(1/2) of hoop stress.
