D(A)/D(B)= (wL^3/48EI.) of A/ (wL^3/48EI) of B.
All are same except W.
So, W/2W = 1/2.Hence D(A) = 2D(B).

How do we calculate deflection though?

Deflection is wL^3/48EI.

It's WL^2/48EI.

Deflection is directly proportional to the load which is acting on the beam.
