Because it sf is the area of the triangle(varying load), @fixed end load = w, using similarity of triangle load at any section x-x from a distance x from free end we get wx/l so total load @between section xx and free end = area of triangle(gradually varying load) = 1/2wxx/l = wx^2/l(parabolic curve).

Sfd is always an inclined line and BMD is always parabolic. Its verified true.
When both ends free than SFD and BMD are both parabolic.
When both ends free than SFD and BMD are both parabolic.
