Ans should be both (b) and (c).
Bending moment is zero at the free end in all three cases but the shear force is zero at the free end in case of b and c only.

For cantilever beam with UDL:
If we consider a section x - x from free end.
Then, shear force will be = Wx.
Put B.C at x = 0 and x = 1.
We get at free end Shear force = 0.
Now for bending moment at x - x section.
Then, B.M will be = W(x)2/2.
Put B.C at x = 0 and x = 1.
We get free end Bending moment = 0.
So, the answer C is correct one.

In all the cases SF and BM are zero at free end.

Guys answer B & C. Because load at the middle portion case also bending moment is zero. It create deflection at free end only not bending moment.

Hi Guys,
Lets take cantilever Beam with UDL,
Now let us consider Fixed end is A,
And Free end is B.
SF at B is 0.
BM at B is 0.
So Answer is C.

And Free end is B.
SF at B is 0.
BM at B is 0.
So Answer is C.

Hello buddies it is an option D.
Because always in cantilever beam free end is zero.
Because always in cantilever beam free end is zero.

The bending moment is zero at the free end of the cantilever in all the cases. Shear force has the value of the load in Case A. Shear force is zero in both B and C. In case C, the shear force varies linearly from zero at the free end to a maximum at the fixed end.

The answer is non of the above. UDL in hole length of the beam can be replaced by the point load at the center hence it will produce bending moment one end with refered to fixed end.
