Answer should be B since elastic limit is not not mentioned here and materials do absorb strain energy after elastic limit also.

# Resilience is the max strain energy stored in a body within elastic limit.
# Proof Resilience is the max strain stored energy in a body up to elastic limit.
# Modulus of Resilience is the max strain energy stored in a body per unit volume.

Proof resilience is defined as the maximum energy that can be absorbed within the elastic limit, without creating a permanent distortion.
