There will be no stress as it is a free expansion.

Strain occurs dude to change in length then the product of young's modulus and strain gives the stress developed in the bar. Is it correct?

Stress induced due to temperature is temperature stress.

No force hence no stress. When temperature has an effect on body thermal stress comes into action.

When a body subjected to temperature change & free to expand then there in no induced stresses. If the bar is restricted, then there is stress development.

There is no forces acting on the heated specimen which causes no stress on the bar.

It is not development stress on a bar because it is not external load act upon bar.

While applying tensile load no restrictions are there but still stress induces.

Stress is not depend on heat.

No stresses at all unless there is a opposing force.
