YES, EFFICIENCY IS MAXIMUM FOR 180-degree deflection of incident beam for or theta=0 in above-mentioned formula, given answer is wrong.

How it is possible?
For max efficiency= (1+cos(θ)/2.
Then max efficiency is at θ = 0 degrees,
Therefore given statement is incorrect.
