False, the velocity is decreasing in moving blades.

@All.
Velocity is decreasing in moving blades and increases in fix blades if it is a reaction turbine.
Here, Your question should be. Pressure is decreased in moving blade as well as in fixed blades in reaction turbine.

The velocity of steam is increased in the fixed blades and is reduced while passing through the moving blades.

In moving blade the pressure drops.
It is right but the K.E 1/2mv^2 is used for shaft work and the rest energy is guided to the other row. Hence velocity decrease in moving blade.

In reaction, turbine only pressure compounding occurs.
And there are two kinds of blades fixed (nozzle) which acts as an expander while the other is moving the blade.
The pressure, as well as velocity increases in fixed blade and the both, will decrease in moving blade.

In a reaction turbine, fixed blade works like a nozzle so velocity increase in fixed blade but a decrease in moving the blade.

In a fixed blade there is drop in pressure due to which absolute velocity increases. There is furter drop in pressure in moving blade due to which relative velocity increases.

Anyone please explain it clearly. I think,
IN F.B = V increases and P decreases.
IN M.B = V decreases and P decreases.
IN F.B = V increases and P decreases.
IN M.B = V decreases and P decreases.

In reaction turbine pressure is reduced in fixed as well as in moving blades, correspondingly velocity should increase in both. But it increases in fixed blades only while reduced in moving blades.
