Axial Flow Turbine:
The steam enters the axial flow steam turbine parallel to the turbine shaft just like the air flows through an axial flow compressor. The stream flows along with the blades and leaves the blade tip at 90° to the direction of the blade motion.

When the flow of steam is parallel to turbine blade than it is known as radial flow turbine, but when flow flowing through perpendicular to the shaft (90 degree) than it is known as axial flow turbine.

In case of axial flow it is parallel to the axis i.e less then 90.
In case of radial flow perpendicular to the axis i.e 90.

The answer should be 90°. If we see velocity diagram for axial discharge, then its clear that it make 90° with the blade tip.
