Coarse grains form open structure type wheel and fine grain form close structure type wheel.
In soft material grinding long chips are formed.
So it needs more space otherwise it will be welded on the wheel (soft material by close structure type wheel) which known as loading of the wheel so the answer A is correct.

For soft material, we use hard wheels.
For hard material, we use soft wheels.
The Soft wheels are those whose grain is held by a weak bond.
Hard wheels are those whose grain are held by the strong bond.
