In Machining of brass, rake angle is taken 0, means it produces discontinuous chips. And fast spiral is good for discontinuous chips.

I guess the answer is more than 30 degrees.

As the brass is softer material so higher helix angle can be used.

But brass is soft workpiece so helix angle should be high.
