Brass is neither brittle nor ductile and hence zero rake angle is preferred for drilling of brass work piece.

Equal to 30° is right.

Equal to 30 is right.
Because for soft material it is 30 like brass.
And hard material is greater than 30 like aluminium.

In Machining of brass, rake angle is taken 0, means it produces discontinuous chips. And fast spiral is good for discontinuous chips.

I guess the answer is more than 30 degrees.
As the brass is softer material so higher helix angle can be used.
As the brass is softer material so higher helix angle can be used.

But brass is soft workpiece so helix angle should be high.

For harder material the degree is reduced so that more penetration can be attained.
