Cutting speed for different materials using HSS.
Al, Bronze and Brass - 60-90 m/min.
Mild Steel - 25-45 m/min.
Copper - 18-30 m/min.
Stainless Steel - 12-18 m/min.

@Nikunj.
It depends on ductility of materials.
For brass the standard speed is kept between 60 to 90 m/min.
It may exeed above 90 while working practically.

Brass is a sensitive material. Cutting tool is hard material so the speed minimum that is 30-60m/min. If it is high speed the material will break.

For brass, it's 30 - 61. Here, the answer is wrong. Cutting speed depends on tool material and job material.

Tool name HSS or Carbide.
Hss: 30-50m/min.
Caemented carbide: 60-200m/min.
Hss: 30-50m/min.
