Hence for more tool life, we prefer negative rake angle.

As we don't include lip angle in the nomenclature of the cutting tool, rake angle is preferred.

But they have given both angles in the options. So it should be lip angle.

Rake angle affects the cutting force, so if no lip angle in the option, we can prefer rake angle.
