If cluster spring means that the two springs are arranged in parallel, then bot options a and b are correct.

Since they are of the same length and material, their stiffness is the same. And since they suffer the same deflection, the load taken by them is also equal which is half of the total load.

Stiffness equal load per deflection it means load directly proportional to defelction.
