Here is flange coupling, not marine flange coupling so the answer is right.

@Ankit -
This is for marine.

@Vinay bel.
This is for the flange.

Flange coupling:

Shaft dia mm ------- No. Of. Bolts.
Up-to 40 ------- 3.
40-60 ------- 4.
60-180 ------- 6.
Above 180 ------- 8.

The number of bolts in a flange coupling depends on several factors, including the size of the bolts, the load on the coupling, and the required safety factor. However, there are some general guidelines that can be used to determine the number of bolts for a given shaft diameter.

One commonly used guideline is to use one bolt for every 25 mm of shaft diameter.

Using this guideline, we can calculate the number of bolts required for a shaft diameter of 100 mm as follows:

Number of bolts = (Shaft diameter)/25 mm per bolt
Number of bolts = 100 mm/25 mm per bolt
The number of bolts = 4 bolts.
