The square thread is stronger than v thread bcoz square thread has less thickness at the core than v thread. Due to less core, it offers less frictional resistance(so high efficiency) but with small load carrying capacity than v thread.

I think square threads are stronger than V threads because area covered in square thread is more and because butted area is more then resistance should also be more.

According to me, B is right option.

A is the right answer.

Square threads have lesser strength due to a Lesser thickness at the core but it allows for lesser friction than v-threads.
